The General Terms and Conditions apply to all promotions, inquiries, lotteries, and procedures conducted by the platform Toptrouwlocaties B.V. Toptrouwlocaties B.V. reserves the right to make changes to the General Terms and Conditions.
1. General
- 1.1 There can be no correspondence regarding the outcome and allocation of the prize.
- 1.2 Participants give consent to the processing of personal data in relation to their participation in the contest. Toptrouwlocaties B.V. may include the personal data in its database, which will be treated confidentially and in accordance with the Dutch Data Protection Act. Toptrouwlocaties B.V. reserves the right to inform winners of the contest about offers and discount promotions via email and telephone.
- 1.3 Participants are obliged to provide correct, up-to-date, and complete information when participating in the contest. Toptrouwlocaties B.V. may request the winner to provide proof of their identity and a valid registration at the participant's provided residential address before awarding the prize.
- 1.4 Employees and family members of Toptrouwlocaties B.V. (including subsidiaries) and cohabiting partners or family members of the aforementioned employees are excluded from participation. Also excluded are any participants related to the specific contest (including advertisers, sponsors, or producers).
- 1.5 Toptrouwlocaties B.V. is entitled to disqualify participants if it believes that the participant does not comply with the General Terms and Conditions of Contests or if the participant fraudulently gains access to the contest or unfairly influences the course of the contest in any other way.
- 1.6 Toptrouwlocaties B.V. is entitled, at its own discretion and without prior notice, to amend or modify these General Terms and Conditions of Contests during the duration of the contest or to discontinue, amend, or modify the contest for its own reasons, without being obligated to compensate the participant in any way. Any changes or modifications to the contest will be announced publicly by Toptrouwlocaties B.V. in an appropriate manner (e.g., through its website).
- 1.7 By submitting a request through the Toptrouwlocaties platform, or by submitting a contact request, registration for the Open Toptrouwlocatie Route, and/or a (digital) wedding book request, consent is given to be added to Toptrouwlocaties' mailing list and/or receive messages via SMS.
- 1.8 If one or more provisions of the General Terms and Conditions of Contests are declared null or invalid, this does not affect the validity of the other provisions of the General and/or Specific Terms and Conditions of Contests.
- 1.9 These General Terms and Conditions also apply to the published Wedding Book of Toptrouwlocaties. Due to the print version of the Wedding Book, any changes cannot be implemented, and Toptrouwlocaties B.V. refers couples to these General Terms and Conditions.
2. Givaway and price draw
- 2.1 Toptrouwlocaties B.V. shall not be liable for any damages arising from participation in the contest, nor for any defects or delays related to participation in the contest or the selection of the winner.
- 2.2 The prize is personal and is awarded in the name of the winner. It will be awarded only once. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or other products or services. If the prize or the conditions associated with the contest are refused or not accepted, the prize will not be awarded. In such cases, Toptrouwlocaties B.V. is entitled to select another winner.
- 2.3 All couples who provide their confirmed booked venue will be included in the prize draw during the period in which they registered.
- 2.4 Couples will only be included in the prize draw if the provided venue is confirmed and listed on Toptrouwlocaties.nl at the time of submission.
- 2.5 The prize draw takes place once a year. No statements will be made regarding the exact date.
- 2.6 Potential winners will be notified personally. If no telephone number is provided, the couple will not have a chance to win a prize.
- 2.7 Each couple can win a maximum of one prize.
- 2.8 Having multiple accounts per couple does not increase the chances of winning.
- 2.9 Winners should be aware that a 30.1% gambling tax must be paid to the Dutch Tax Authorities on prizes with a value above €449. Toptrouwlocaties B.V. cannot be held responsible for changes in the gambling tax rate.
- 2.10 Participating in this contest is completely free of charge. The venue should not charge any additional costs for this. If this is the case, please let us know.
- 2.11 By participating in this contest, the winners automatically grant permission to Toptrouwlocaties B.V. to use video and image material from the award ceremony for commercial purposes.
- 2.12 The couple wins the quotation amount they have outstanding with the wedding venue at the time of winning, with a maximum of €10,000.
- 2.13 The couple must be available on the day of the award ceremony and cooperate with Toptrouwlocaties. The day of the award ceremony is always determined by Toptrouwlocaties.
- 2.14 In some award ceremonies, multiple couples are randomly selected for a shortlist, and the final winner is announced on the day itself. The condition is that the couple is available to be present at their wedding venue or another location on a day chosen by Toptrouwlocaties.
3. Rituals giftcard
- 3.1 It is possible to provide your confirmed booked venue once and receive a Rituals gift from Toptrouwlocaties B.V. only once.
- 3.2 Couples will receive the Rituals gift only if the provided venue is confirmed and listed on Toptrouwlocaties.nl at the time of submission. Additionally, the wedding date must be in the future.
- 3.3 If you are eligible for the Rituals gift, you will receive an email to verify your address details. The Rituals gift will be sent only if we receive a response to this email with the correct address details within six months.
- 3.4 Once a couple provides their confirmed booked venue, we will verify with the respective venue if the wedding and wedding date are definitively scheduled. Once this is confirmed by the venue and we receive a response from the couple regarding the address, we will send the Rituals gift and the couple will have a chance to win the prizes.
- 3.5 The gift will only be sent to addresses in the Netherlands
- 3.6 The promotion is only valid if the wedding is confirmed within six months after providing the information to Toptrouwlocaties.
- 3.7 Participating in this promotion is completely free of charge. The venue should not charge any additional costs for this. If this is the case, please let us know.
- 3.8 No claims can be made for gifts marked as "sent" by Toptrouwlocaties B.V.
- 3.9 Toptrouwlocaties B.V. cannot be held responsible for any damage to the gift or any damage caused during the delivery of the gift.
4. Review Policy
- Clients who have organized a wedding or part of the wedding at a specific venue can write a review about their experience after the wedding has taken place at the respective location.
- It is only possible to write a review if the wedding or part of the wedding has taken place at the specific location. If this condition is not met, the review will be removed by High Profile Locaties.
- After writing a review, the review must be confirmed via the received email. After confirmation, the review will be published.
- All reviews are checked by High Profile Locaties. If High Profile Locaties doubts the authenticity of the review, they will contact the client and the venue to verify whether the event has taken place.
- It is not allowed to name and shame employees of venues in a review. The name of the respective employee will be removed by High Profile Locaties.
- How is the average score determined? When a location is reviewed on the websites locaties.nl, toptrouwlocaties.nl, and inspirerendelocaties.nl, a score is assigned to each review category, such as 'food/drinks' or 'price/quality ratio'. An average is calculated for each category. This average is calculated based on all posted reviews on locaties.nl, inspirerendelocaties.nl, and toptrouwlocaties.nl. The average score per location is the average of the average category scores.
